  2. Secondly, make sure that you have ALL documentation in you possession, as well as the planning of both the project itself and the tender process. To gain this information, you’ll normally need the login details of the specific tender portal, make sure you obtain these login details. It will make it easier to have insights in documentation, timelines, guidelines and communication channels of the contractor. And in the end, you don’t miss out information regarding updates, or other important elements that can affect your bid.
  3. After this, implement all documents and timelines in a compliance matrix, this will be the master file. In this file, you can keep track of actions, Questions & Answers (Q&A), risks, planning, progress and status during the whole project. This is quite some work, but it helps you and the rest of the project team to keep track of the whole project. Even with small tenders, this is crucial to have. 
  4. During the whole tender phase, keep track of all incoming and outgoing documents and information to make sure your tender team can work with the most accurate information, so they can concentrate on their tasks.
